Dr. Luke Thomas
Veterinarian
Dr. Thomas is originally from Oxford, Alabama. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Jacksonville State University in 2020 and went on to receive his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2025.
He has a special interest in surgery and emergency medicine and is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care for pets and their families. Dr. Thomas is excited to serve the Birmingham community and to help animals live happy, healthy lives.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Thomas enjoys running, working out, spending time with friends and family, and playing competitive ultimate frisbee with Birmingham’s club team. He and his wife, Kylee, have been married for two years and recently welcomed their son, Liam. They share their home with three dogs—Maya, Blake, and Hendrix.
